Books-A-Million hosting fourth annual book and toy drive for House of Mercy and local charities – Yahoo News

Oct. 28—Through Dec. 11, the Books-A-Million bookstore in Uptown Janesville is hosting its fourth annual book and toy drive for children who are residents of Mercyhealth's House of Mercy Homeless Center.
Part of the nationwide bookstore chain's "Holiday Book and Toy Drive," Books-A-Million is helping to promote childhood literacy and family socialization in addition to spreading holiday cheer for those staying at the short-term emergency shelter.
Additionally, Books-A-Million is encouraging customers to participate in its "Gift the Gift of Grinch" campaign, which will help donate toys and children's books to local charities.
Those interested in donating can visit the bookstore and select from a wish list of requested books. Books-A-Million is only accepting donations from customers who purchase items in the store, per company policy.
