More than two dozen restaurants participating in a Taste of Thayer next week – The Providence Journal

There are 23 food businesses and six retail shops participating in the first Taste of Thayer set for Wednesday, Nov. 3, from 4 to 7 p.m.
Tickets cost $30. Attendees get an admission button and a map of all participating locations. At food venues, they will receive a sample-sized tasting of a signature menu item. There will be special offers or discounts at the retail stores. Attendees also get two drink tickets for participating food venues for soft drinks, beer, wine or well drinks.
Participating are Aroma Joes, Andreas, Ayame Hibachi Express, Baja’s TexMex, Baja’s Taqueria, Beatnic, Ben and Jerry’s, Blue State Coffee, Chinatown, Den Den Korean Fried Chicken, East Side Pockets, Flatbread Co., Heng Thai and Rotisserie, Insomnia Cookies, Kabob and Curry, La Crepiere, Metro Mart Deli, Mike’s Calzones, Pokeworks, Shake Shack, Shaking Crab, Ten One Tea House, Tribos Peri Peri, Berk’s Shoes and Clothing, Brown Bookstore, Kind Connection, Pleasant Surprise, Rev’d Indoor Cycling, Spectrum-India.
The button (ticket) and package will be available for pickup at our will-call location (Outside the Brown Bookstore) on Nov. 3, from 3:30pm to 6:30pm.
Tickets can be purchased at and picked up on the day of the event  from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. outside the Brown Bookstore. 
Attendees will also vote for their favorite venue which will receive a $1,000 prize. A $300 prize will also be awarded to the Most Creative venue. The Thayer Street District Management Authority organized what they hope will become an annual event. 
There will be live music at Blue State Coffee and Pokeworks.
